  Paper 1 question 2 The following text is a letter written by a man named Richard Branson being written in the first person. ¨I¨ and ¨we¨ is showing how the writer describes himself and who he is talking to in a first person point of view. The writer's target audience is to whom he is writing to which is ¨stranger¨ or someone who seems to want to be starting something new like a business or form of work. This excerpt stays in the format of the letter through the beginning to end and concludes the writing with ¨ Happy regards¨ to end off the writing. Beginning my analysis about structure the author wrote short paragraphs throughout the entire text and stuck to multiple points in what he was talking about. This has been causing backlash in their country causing a need for new homes and lots of money to be raised for food and clothes. Reina and her mother are in the countryside having a conversation side by side. Reina is in the 3- 5 stage of developing post telegraphic.   Text A  is an excerpt written by Edward Berens, which is a letter written by an uncle to a nephew in 1832. Following this meaning that the lexus and form of language choice is similar but not exact to modern English now in the present day. The lexus and form change originates at the beginning of text A when it says the text is a series of letters which are hardly used now in modern day.
