review on amuzement parks paper 2
The collier county Fair opened over a few weeks ago having younge kids and teanagers exited aswell as older families and their kids. What makes the atmosphere at a theme park so exciting?
One thing everyone can't seem to miss at the fair or theme park is the food. For the first time I tried fried oreos and rolled ice cream that were sold at the fair and it was definitely my top favorite ice cream sold at an amusement park I have been to. When people see the mix of sweets and salty foods such as dippin dots or mac and cheese bowls they just can't seem to resist their unhealthy temptations and I was one of them, and of course it was totally worth it. I think the food sold at the fair is by far one of the things that makes an amusement park worth the money.
Most of the people seem pleased with the food sold; the rides are particularly the reason people enjoy going to the amusement park for the thrill of going high and dropping from many feet high. With long lines ranging from a 10 - 20 minute wait on each of them no one seemed to mind standing in line enjoying a sweet treat from the food stands and having a thriller upside down ride at the fair. With rides going upside down, inside out, and many feet high kids and adults enjoy the wait with their familys watching the well put together rides and their employees working the machine.
Something else kids can't seem to miss having their parents throw money at is the special games that range from throwing needles at balloons, to shooting basketballs, to lastly shooting water guns all to win a big stuffed animal prize that they don't sell online.Seeing laughter on a kids face and smiles from ear to ear shows the special games included in an amusement park are worth the money at an amusement park. Nothing beats winning a big stuffed cow after you and a friend beat 3 other little kids in a water gun shooting game and being able to walk out of the fair with something you thought you wouldnt walk out with.
Lastly, The final thing I will be reviewing are the drinks sold at the fair. Ranging from snowcones to slushies, to alcoholic beverages and fresh squeezed juices. Parents cannot seem to keep their wallets away from the drink stands. Personally I think that the drinks always add a constant desirable feeling towards food and other rides as you walk around the park. The drinks sold at the park are definitely one of the better or more enjoyable things that are subtle but good in an amusement park.
While all the materialistic things that are sold from a fairground and an amusement park are well put together, The atmosphere is what makes a fair a fair. Why? With kids screaming in rides and laughter while enjoying a stand of food at a line this creates a feel of enjoyment in the fair and a feeling that no one wants to ignore. This atmosphere is created not by the things at the fair but by the sense of lots of people being there enjoying themselves as well as the rides, food, and games sold at the fair.
